When infidelity, alcohol or drug abuse is involved the situation may seem even more hopeless. Retrouvaille - a lifeline for troubled marriages! If your marriage has little or no communication, is filled with strife / pain, if you are considering separation or divorce, Retrouvaille (a French word meaning "rediscovery") can help you. Retrouvaille is a weekend experience followed by an optional series of twelve presentations offered within the three months following the weekend phase. Retrouvaille is Catholic in origin but open to all married couples regardless of religion. The weekend is not a spiritual retreat, not a sensitivity group, not a social gathering, nor is it counseling. The weekend helps couples to discover how listening, forgiveness, communication and the dialogue process are powerful tools for building a loving and lasting relationship. Retrouvaille is available across the United States and in many foreign countries. New England programs exist in Massachusetts and Connecticut.
